Seeking Fosters for Pets at the APA’s Olivette Location
On Monday, December 5, the APA team will begin operations at the St. Louis County Pet Adoption Center at what will now be known as APA Olivette. The APA was selected to operate the shelter after a competitive proposal review process initiated by St. Louis County. The APA will also continue to operate our flagship location on Hanley Road in Brentwood – APA Brentwood.
We are looking for foster homes for several pets at APA Olivette (below is just a preview). After experiencing a long time in the shelter, which can be very stressful, all eligible pets below will benefit from experiencing the love and comfort of a home while they wait for their adoptive families. Who is ready to bring one of them home for the holiday until they find their furever homes?
Why foster?
Fostering allows us to create more space for pets in need, and also helps pets who are stressed experience a more calming environment in order to decompress and be their very best selves. The APA makes fostering easy by providing all food and supplies to our generous hosts. Litter, pee pads, food, leashes, you name it, we have you covered.
There’s no obligation to find a new home for the pet on your own. When it is time for the pet to be made available for adoption, they are welcome to come back to our Adoption Center. If at any time you need support, we are ready to jump in and even have a full-time team member dedicated to supporting our foster program and volunteers.
Let’s look at all the animals who are in need of a little extra love and support right now! Interested in fostering? Please follow the two steps below. Thank you for helping us double our difference!
