Safe and Sound: Free ID Tags and Microchips at the APA

Fireworks might be fun for us—but for pets, they can be loud, scary, and disorienting.
More pets go missing around the Fourth of July than any other time of year. We want to help ensure that if your pet does go missing, they can get back home easily.
In honor of Lost Pet Prevention Month, the APA is offering free ID tags and microchips from July 1–4, 2026.
