Animal Welfare Assistant Certification Program

Offered through the St. Louis Community College Office of Continuing Education, this class is designed for adults and students age 16+ who wish to become educated about animal welfare. If you work or volunteer with animals, or hope to someday, this program is for you.

The APA Adoption Center is proud to have partnered with St. Louis County Animal Care and Control and the Humane Society of Missouri to develop this unique program. If you successfully complete the coursework and earn a certificate, you may receive priority employment at our three agencies.
