For Kids

Getting Kids Involved

A strong bond between a child and an animal can encourage growth and learning for both in a number of ways. Each of our youth-centered education programs connect young people with animals through fun, innovative methods.

Camps

The APA offers camps throughout the year where campers will participate in a variety of hands-on activities. Campers will get to know the people and pets of the APA, and become experts on enrichment, animal behavior, and how to advocate for animals in their own communities.
