Description:
The Director of People & Culture is responsible for all human resource functions in accordance with the policies and practices of the APA. These functions include, but are not limited to, employee engagement, performance management, new employee onboarding and orientation, employee and leadership development, policy development and adherence, compensation and benefits, staffing, hiring, HR recordkeeping and administration, EEO, employee satisfaction, and recognition. This position is also responsible for employee relations and cultivating a culture that promotes productivity, creativity, innovation, diversity, and growth. Through this work, the Director of People and Culture will help improve and maintain the quality of the workplace environment and take a people-centric approach to their duties. They will help ensure that the APA has satisfied employees and robust talent management.
Qualified candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, and progressive professional experience in personnel management including manager/director-level roles. We are seeking a ‘generalist’ – someone who has experience in multiple areas of Human Resource management. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to recruit/retain staff, administer performance management and compensation plans, and work with cross-functional teams.
The starting salary for this position is $70,000. The Director of People and Culture serves all APA locations and has the option of working in-office, from home, or a combination of the two.
