Join a caring team in the APA’s wellness clinic located in our adoption center! This position provides support to the veterinary team and leadership in the APA’s wellness clinic. The clinic manager leads a team of 3 clinic support staff and is responsible for hiring, coaching, and scheduling. This position also maintains and orders medications and other supplies. Administrative duties include approving invoices, filing, reconciliation for the accounting department, and running monthly reports. The role supports client services and requires great communication skills. There are also opportunities to assist the veterinarians with animal restraint, labs, and animal care. One year experience in animal health or welfare required. Veterinary technician certification and/or two years’ experience as a veterinary practice manager preferred. This position starts at $21/hour commensurate with experience.
