Description:
The Associate Veterinarian provides routine and preventative care at the APA’s Wellness Clinic. The APA’s Wellness Clinic is open to the public and offers services such as vaccinations, heartworm testing, FIV/FeLV testing, and fecals. The Associate Veterinarian also assists with shelter medicine the diagnosis and treatment of animals at the APA Adoption Center and performs spay/neuter surgeries. The work environment is fast-paced and at times works with another veterinarian, vet assistant, clinic receptionist, and clinic volunteers. This is an opportunity to be part of a great team of compassionate veterinarians and staff. Benefits include retirement plan with company match and flexible scheduling. This position starts at $45/hour. Must be either licensed or eligible for licensure in Missouri.
- No overnights or on-call, hours are 10am-4:30pm M-F and Sat 9:30-4pm
